Hike to Nihondaira Terrace

Three friends and I had a beautiful clear day to hike from Funakoshi Park to Nihondaira Terrace, a newly opened lookout place.
The map from our starting point was in Japanese, except for "You Are Here".
I never get tired of seeing Mt. Fuji. I am so lucky to live here.
This is green tea growing.
What a happy bunch we are!
Many types of citrus fruits are grown in this area.
Big Bamboo
Left or right?  Sometimes it is good to check the map.
Can you see us in the reflection?
This is the highest point in the area so there is a great view all of the way around.
We ate at a restaurant that is on the second floor of a shop, with a view of Mt. Fuji.
The menu
The meals
After lunch, it was time to head back down.  There are five hiking courses.  We chose a different one to go down. We went down through the woods.
What a great day!  We are  planning another day hike for the near future.  I can hardly wait.
