Princess Yuriko was famous for her hard work to improve the standard of living for ordinary people.
She had much hardship in her life, getting married just before the Pacific War started, and losing two of her sons when they were in their prime.
A very ripe old age. What all she has seen. . .
Princess Yuriko has experienced the changing times of Meiji, Taisho, Showa, Heisei, and now Reiwa. She is a wonderful person who fulfilled her role.
