I made these four little biscornu type pin cushions as gifts.
Today, I also want to call attention to Toki’s Kogin finish. (My finish here) We each made our own kogin hanging, using our own interpretations of the same basic patterns and thread colors. You can check out her full post about finishing this project here. The photo below also shows her Japanese patterns tapestry.
Her blog is in Japanese, but if you don’t read Japanese, use the translate button under the title on her blog. In addition to stitching, she also gives us interesting information on Japanese culture.
Biscornu is such a lovely shape, I love seeing them en masse, like a set of rice-filled juggling bags! Which did you find easier, working on Aida or on plain weave?

Beautiful pin cushions, Pamela. Happy New Year, my friend. Hugs from Greece.

Those biscornu are very cute, looks like a quick, but effective pattern. I've already seen Toki's finish, it's lovely!
