They are so colourful in their beautiful kimonos.
That's a cool Holiday, but I find it a bit odd that some people will celebrate their 'coming of age' when it will only happen in the next couple weeks! Especially as, if I remember correctly, Japanese society is quite big on alcohol too. So some of the people celebrating can drink today, and some can't?
Lovely celebration.
Japan has some wonderful and very interesting traditional holidays.
I think coming-of-age ceremonies are a good way to honestly look at yourself in order to become an adult.
Seeing young people wearing their best clothes makes even strangers happy.
