Midterm Elections in the United States
Today is election day in the US. American citizens living abroad are still eligible vote. If a voter does not maintain an address in the US, the voter is able to vote in the last state of residence. I lived in North Carolina and I voted on the first day available for absentee voting in North Carolina for the November election. Now, all that’s left is the counting. I’m hoping for change without violence. Is that too much to hope for?
Did you know that Pope Leo XIV is the first pope to vote in a United States general election? The Vatican confirmed that the Chicago born pontiff had submitted a mail-in ballot ahead of the November 3rd midterm elections.
