Stitch Group Hardanger

The stitchers met on Monday this week (Foundation Day, a national holiday in Japan). First we had some show and tell - a finished cathedral window project and three finished hardanger projects from last time - a jar lid and two pins.

We started another small hardanger project of each person's choosing with the challenge to add eyelets or blanket stitch to it.  We will decide on filling stitches and cut at our next get together.

All projects are such lovely stitching. I was just thinking that your group is just the right size. I was also thinking that I would never be able to get up off the floor from that table, lol.
xx, Carol

Oh lovely stitching. Beautiful cathedral windows!
The Hardanger looks very complicated.
You all stitch such beautiful projects, and those snacks look so interesting.
I was just thinking surely you wouldn’t sit on the floor like that,
I know I wouldn’t be able to get up again well not easily anyway! Tee hee!
Hugs,
Barbara xx

Beautiful finishes - love the tassels on the Cathedral Windows.
Your students are really taking this seriously, planning and studying hard.
Oh, I wish I could join you!

Your stitcher ladies are very courageous. I'd be so scared, cutting into my stiching!
