Yokohama Quilt Show - Viva Mexico!

There were several international quilt artists with exhibits. These quilts were made by Mexican quilters.

I especially like the quilts showing Chichen Itza and the Mayan scenes.

You must have taken a picture of every quilt in the show!
Looking at the ones my camera didn't capture is like visiting the show again.
THANK YOU, Pamela.

I have always loved Mexican art. I love the colorful scenes. I have often wished I lived in a tropical area where I can paint my home a wonderful color.

These have a very different look than other quilts and for a lack of a better way to phrase it, look very much like a Mexican style. Lovely -- you must have had a ball at the show!

These quilts are so very different, such vibrancy and colour in them.

Those quilts are awesome! I love how colourful they are, and how they give their own take on Mexican culture.
