Renchakuji Temple

This temple is located on the Izu Penninsula, near the Lamp Museum Flower Garden.

As with most shrines and temples, Renchkuji Temple has steps.

It is located at the coast.

I saw some berries growing.

This big old tree has other plants growing out of the base.

After visiting the temple, we had pizza for lunch.

These interesting bushes were growing outside the restaurant. I don't know what they are, but I like the look of them.

The bottlebrush-like flower, known as Callistemon, is native to Australia. It is really lovely, don't you think?

Hello Pamela: Very interesting photos, the plants growing out of the tree trunk are beautiful, the tree must have the perfect nutrients for their growth.
Love the bottle brush flowers.

What a beautiful temple! It looks so peaceful and tranquil, I bet you could hear the waves while exploring.
