Work in Progress Wednesday
The Tale of Genji progress
A new project that is actually old -
When I lived in Hokkaido, I went to a craft sale with a friend and posted a picture of my purchases. If you look in the upper right of the photo, you can see a kit for a zipper pouch.
Finally, I decided to start working on it. I cut out all the pieces and made the bias binding. Stay tuned to see how I do with the instructions.

You have been very active.
Good for you to get started on an old purchase. Do you find the instructions hard to understand? They appear to be handwritten. In my opinion, handwritten kanji can be difficult to search for in a dictionary. Are you using a printed dictionary or a camera-operated translation app?
I also want to know who the landscape architect is. You or did the Knot Garden come with a design and set of stitches?
I like the look of the purse. The patches are an interesting shape too.
You are nearly finished with your fabulous piece. And the new pouch will be fun too.
