I received this kogin coaster kit as a gift . The kit contains kogin fabric, kogin thread, backing fabric, batting, and instructions. I made nice progress in only one day. I always enjoy the even rows and repetition of kogin. I should do more of it.

The Hawaiian table cover is getting close to a finish. I still need to stitch the binding down on the back.

I made these two hexagon coasters as a thank you gift. They measure about 7” x 7”, so big enough for a mug and a snack.

Drawstring bag - when I was looking for something else, I came across the pieces for this that were already cut out. I spent an evening hand sewing and this is the result. If you are a long time reader of this blog, you might remember this as a Stitch Group project. (Front, back, and inside)

My finish this month is a coaster. This design is the Lizzie Kate "Bloom" freebie and the chart can be found here. The plastic coaster housing for the cross stitch came from a craft store in the US a long time ago. It is the perfect size for this design and I am happy to be able to use it.

Home Again Afghan - When I recently rediscovered this UFO, I wondered why I quit working on it. Now I know.  There are many color changes after just a few stitches and the colors are very close.  There are too many 1/4, 1/2, and 3/4 stitches. It's a cute little design, but it is a pain to stitch. This is my progress the last few days.

Three American Snack Coasters - I cut the braid border and backed them with fabric with batting in the middle.  I will finish them by adding red binding.
