2018 Smalls Stitch A Long - January

This is the fifth year I've joined in the Smalls Stitch A Long.

Links to my finishes are: 2017 - Calendar Cats

2016 - Ornaments and other things

2015 - Miniatures

and 2014 - Little Toolies.

Now for 2018, I think my theme will be ornaments.

This month's ornament is a 1995 design by Patricia Timpanaro, called Christmas Cross.  I used Watercolors thread and seed beads on 18 count canvas.  The twisted cording is made from #5 perle cotton.

I'm linking up with Heather, at Stitching Lotus, the hostess of this stitch a long.

This is a lovely ornament Pamela, the thread colours are very pretty and I like the added seed beads tucked away and the perfect backing fabric.

That's lovely! It is good to see the progress shots, too, because I wouldn't have been able to figure out how the design was achieved from just the finished picture.
