Work In Progress Wednesday

This afghan was my main project this week.

I'm getting closer with this one, but there are still many little details and backstitching left to do.

The metallic thread looks more green than the gold that shows up in this photo.

The Ladies are my lunchtime stitching project. Here's an overall photo and some closer photos.

Great stitching Pamela. I love the US map your working on. Can you tell me the name of the chart and designer. I also really like the big US map you did. Can also get the name of the chart and designer.

Thank you,
Linda

Beautiful projects, every time I think your America project is looking nearly completed a whole lot more is added! It is looking wonderful.

Great progress.
It is so interesting to look at all the details of the fashion items. One dress reminds me of one I had as a young teenager 'op mode' was the name (optical fashion) and was a black and white dress with very graphic design. The dress I am think of is the one with horisontal black Fern Stitch.
The nun also looks very fashionable - isn't she dancing - she must be a character from Sound Of Music.
My favourite is the girl with the Christmas tree dress and the one in the Little Black with a red belt and red shoes.
