Uramiga-Taki

This was a nice little hike and a beautiful waterfall.  The best part was walking behind the falls.

That is a beautiful spot. And after seeing these photos I have just spent some time reading up about tree-ferns of Japan and the world. There are far more species than I knew about, and they are more widely distributed. It is fascinating to see the Japanese one which I did not know existed.

Playing catch up again - well done the stitchers on the hardanger, the cutting is so scarey the first few times you do it.
You visit such beautiful places, this waterfall is amazing.

I've never been to Hachijo-jima. Interesting. Did you go here by boat? From where?
