Tokyo International Quilt Festival 2020 - Shizuko Kuroha, Dynamic Cloth

I enjoyed seeing this exhibit, with both the steps on how it is done and the artist demonstrating. I thought the technique was interesting and the fabrics gorgeous.

Those are beautiful quilts, what amazing planning and handwork.
Looks like flu season too!

Sadly, these are not to my taste.

I love these -- and the display is fascinating, even to a non-quilter. Very beautiful.

I think Ms Kuroha is so good at making landscapes and sunsets with her collection of beautiful fabric.
The sampler books, her plans and the step-by-step illustrations is proof of her great generosity to share her work with others. There are few shows where she has not been giving demonstations.

She makes amazing quilts with her technique. It is really good to see the process she uses.

These look very interesting! I guess they need quite some though to plan and a lot of attention to sew.
