Clever work, although I must confess I am not a big fan of heavily buttoned things.

This gives me some ideas for the mega-container of buttons someone just gave me.(Want some?)!

From the very start Ms Okano added buttons to her quilts of traditional patterns (log cabins, strippy quilts, Dresden Plates etc), then she began to make her own very unique picture and text quilts. Many of them have recipes and illustrations of the ingredients. Her embroidery is done mainly in Stem Stitch and it is usually slightly off the mark. All these things make it easy to pick out a Okano quilt in the crowd.
I see that in the 'I Wanna Buy Shoes' quilt she has also added paper clips.

That's a lot of buttons!

Yes, I do like them very much. I've got a big bundle of buttons, but not the talent displayed on your post, to do something beautiful with them.

Fun projects, clever ladies who designed and made these.
