Fully Finished Gallery - Gingham and Drawn Thread Table Runner

I am linking up with  Rachel's Fully Finished Gallery at Ten Hour Stitcher. Thank you, Rachel for hosting this SAL!

This month I finished the first of two gingham and drawn thread table runners. I have a second one going with my stitch group.  It is slightly different and not finished.

Mary Corbett's tutorial on how to do this is great - easy to follow directions with photos.  Check it out!

That’s really pretty! I’ve done Chicken Scratch stitch on gingham, but never tried drawn thread…. Dot

The drawn thread work is beautiful. Very unusual for a gingham fabric.

Congratulations on completing ones.
People who see this will be probably and wonder, “can you make something like this?”.😊

NICE!
I have seen many examples of Chicken Scratch with lace-like embroidery on the squares of Gingham. However, I had never even heard of Drawn Gingham until I read your blog and looked at the beautiful work you and the stitch group are doing.

Wow, that's gorgeous! Drawn thread work is so intriguing, but I'm not brave enough to try it myself yet.

Yours looks great, you make it look easy! I'm not sure I have the patience for that though.
