The Alphabet Club - A

(For the full story on what this is all about, check out The Alphabet Club.)

My “A” word is the Japanese noun Asobi which is defined as play, game, diversion, or relaxation. This is what needlework is for me.

I'm a little late joining in - the first Saturday of the month is the TAC day.  Check back next month for my "B" word.

Thank you for the reminder about "asobi". Needlework is certainly a relaxation!

Lovely items you chose to illustrate this. Look forward to learning more Japanese over the next 25 months.

What beautiful photo's . The items all compliment each other colour wise. Love the shawl, and it's colour progression. Also the tree.
