Last Wednesday, from Tokyo we could see no snow on top of Mt Fuji Today was another hot day here. I saw at least one person in the park sunning himself naked above the waist, others in non-sleeves and barelegged. It's been a LONG summer, nay it still IS summer.
People who can see Mt.Fuji nearby can know the weather by looking at the snowfall on Mt. Fuji and the surrounding clouds. I also check Mt. Fuji and predict the weather.

Very Autumn here - I live near Chicago USA. Cooler temperatures, trees beginning to change colors.

I think it would feel comforting, living where I know Fuji San is watching over me at all times.
