Sogahachimangu Shrine

This Shrine is dedicated to the Soga Brothers, that I previously posted about here. They are famous in this area around Fuji.

These two statues are the fatherless young brothers.

The picture below is the sumo wrestling area. I recently saw this feature at another shrine.

I’m fortunate to have a friend who is interested in and knowledgeable about the local history and who introduces me to many places.
