Monday Morning Star Count - More Japanese Hexie Placemats

I made these as gifts, but I like them so much that I might make some for me.  I'll probably wait until my fingers heal to make more though.  The Japanese fabric is difficult to push the needle through.

Great idea for gifts, and to have for yourself too.

Kimono silk should be avoided as long as you are in rehabilitation! It is hard on fit hands! The result is as always beautiful, and I am happy to see you have been working on some fabric I have seen before!

Perfect use for small kimono scraps. I am thinking to make some tissue cases out of a bag of scraps today.
