I hope you are doing what you love today. I saw this fisherman when I was walking near my home and thought about being able to do what one's loves. How lucky I am to be able to do what I love every day.
I think it is absolutely ESSENTIAL to do something one loves every day, even if it is for just a minute! I also think we need to find new and simple 'loves' that are easy to achieve, like sitting down, closing our eyes and daydreaming or playing a favorite tune in our heads. In that way even if we were held captive, had to work flat out all day or engulfed with grief we would be able to escape into a world of pleasure.... Is this Sunday morning philosophy? Pamela, I hope you have plenty of time for your passion - needlework - today.
The picture makes me wonder. Is he fishing alone because he wants to BE alone, or because he IS alone? Like you, I choose to think his fishing is like a time to meditate and re-energize. Today you found the beauty of his moment. xx, Carol
I'm with Queeniepatch on this - if I didn't get to do what a love all day, even if it's just for a few minutes, I do not feel at easy, and several days in a row, I just about go insane! Thankfully, I love a lot of things, and some of them are easy to carry around, so I don't have to go without very often :)

You are lucky Pamela, not everyone has that joy.

Hi Pamela it's lovely to be able to enjoy what you do.
Very true :) Even if it's only for a moment each day, doing something you love is a joy.
