Sanada Shrine

This shrine is on the grounds of the Ueda Castle Park.

This is the newer area of the shrine.

Behind the newer area is this, then an older shrine building.

View from the old shrine area

As always, I don't know what it is all about, but I find it incredibly interesting.

I love the way the shrine commemorates, rather than giving facts and dates :)

So many mysterious aspects to the shrine. It is interesting, nevertheless! And a lovely view to the distant mountains.

What an interesting shrine! I wonder what the giant helmet and the tiny umbrellas are for?
