Friday Finish - Embroiderer’s Guild of America Drawn Thread Group Correspondence
Finally! I began this Drawn Thread Notebook project in 1997, when I belonged to the Indianapolis EGA chapter. I moved to Illinois shortly after the course started and it was put away. I carried it from place to place when I moved around after that. After moving to Japan, I began working on it again, but got stuck on the last section. It called for coral knots, that I put in and took out many times. They always looked too loose and too sloppy, so I took them out and put the project away again and again. This week, I decided to put in a simple section and call it done. So it is done.
The designer of this piece is Jonalene T. Guiwein.

Oh, it must feel wonderful to finally have this beautiful sampler finished and ticked off your list.
I think we have the right to change or skip over a set design that has been a stumbling block and prevented us from progressing or finishing the whole piece.
I am sure Jonalene T. Guiwein understands.
Lovely finish Pamela. I am with Queenie - just change up the stitch if it is not working for you. xx
The 29 year long project has finally come to an end. Even if it's not the correct answer, the ending you choice is wonderful enough.
Congratulations on your completion.🙌
