Yaizu Shrine is a Shinto shrine that was built in 409 AD, honoring Prince Yamato Takeru, son of Emperor Keiko. It is about a 15 minute walk from Yaizu station.
There is an unusual amount of open space at this shrine. However, they have that very impressive old tree, or should I say clump of old trees, with at least one massive trunk (fourth picture from the end).

Those standing stones are very powerful and lovely. This is an airy spot and looks lovely to walk about in.
All that open space makes the place look very dignified!
