2014 Smalls SAL - Strawberries and Rice

My completed small this month is the lid to a small box.  The box came with cookies and was a gift from my music English Students.  It is just the right size to hold spools of Accentuate.  I stitched the strawberry pattern with rice stitches and added a double row of cording I made with perle #5 and Impressions.

I’m linking up with Stitching Lotus’ Smalls Stitch A Long.

What a great way to reuse the box. Your finishing is, as always, immaculate.

That is very pretty. I almost fainted when I first saw the photo, because I thought those were all Queen stitches!!! Rice stitches are much more fun. =)

This is beautiful, too!
I don't think I had started reading your blog in 2014 so this must be the first time for me to see this box. Maybe your new box could hold buttons?
We're having a beautiful morning here in Tokyo, but I have to get ready to work now, well, such is life!
