One of
my university students missed class to attend her sister’s wedding and she
brought me back this delicious treat.
She’s an “A” student without bringing me omiyage, but I do
appreciate her thoughtfulness.

Wow, that little treat is a work of art, cute little serving platter too. Even the packaging is eye candy. I can see that you have a 'difficult' job.
What on earth is it? Puffed osembei? Oinari sushi with seaweed?
