Well, you will have a beautiful rose covered Afgan in 12 years time then! No, I am sure you will finish it long before that. You need time to do many other thigns right now, work and explore your new area.
I know what you mean, I have a whole drawer full... The work is looking very pretty.
12 years wouldn't scare me away, lol. Very nice stitching.
