17 Finishes in 2017
I've been reading other stitching blogs where stitchers are listing 17 projects they intend to finish in 2017. The Crafter's Apprentice posted her 17 and told about a link to keep bloggers accountable. The link up is being hosted by Anne and Meredithe. Progess is to be shown at the end of each month.
Last year I only finished 33 mostly small projects and that was with two good arms, but I'm going to try it. Here's what I propose for my 17 finishes.
1 and 2 Mary and Bess - companion pieces to Queen Elizabeth. Not started yet, so no photo.
3 2017 Smalls Stitch A Long, hosted by Stitching Lotus. This year I plan to stitch the calendar cats (free charts at Happiness is Cross Stitching). One small ornament per month, not started yet so no photo.
4 White Rose Needlebook & Fob by The Sweetheart Tree
5 Rose Cross Stitch Afghan
6 The Pears - I have 8 stitched and need to stitch the remaining 4 and finish them into ornaments. These are free charts found at Samplers and Santas.
7 The House Quilt
8 The Scrappy Cat Quilt
9 The Midnight Mystery Quilt - a free online quilt along designed by Cheryl at Meadow Mist Designs.
10 Silk Ribbon Baltimore Album
11 Plum Panache Silk Beaded Shawl
12 Kogin Bag
13 Pansy Stumpwork
14 Miniature Chair Cushion
15 Paisley Purse
16 Royal School of Needlework Canvas Project - Japanese Rice Fields
17 EGA Drawn Thread GCC - Started in 1997
So there it is, a rather ambitious list. As soon as my arm heals enough to pick up a needle, I'll get started.

I saw that post. I don't have enough WIPs but I don't think I could ever attempt it :o but I wish you luck for the coming year.
Wow that is a lot to be working on Pamela, I guess slow and steady will get you there. Hope the arm is healing well.
Not only is the list long, it is filled with time consuming and slightly complicated projects. Remember there is always the option of NOT completing all the 17 projects! First of all, have FUN! and do take care of that broken arm of yours.
Good luck with that lot Pamela! I am joining up with Elaine (crazyquilteronabike) and Motivational Mondays. Elaine has a journal system which breaks tasks down into doable amounts which I think might work for me. xx
What a lovely array of projects. Hope your arm mends soon so that you can start working on them. Thanks for joining in!
