I pieced five neutral-ly fabrics for behind the tree. I will also do some kind of bright border around this, but I'm still thinking on it. I have a couple of ideas about that. My plan right now (subject to change) is to do the background with border, then applique the tree, then roll up the background and embellish the tree. We'll see.

For every step you take, this is just looking more and more impressive. Although you have a lot of 'maybes' in your plan, I am sure you will make the best decisions. Keep up the good work.

A wonderful idea with this background. I was already wondering how you would do it.
Your tree is beautiful and no matter what you decide to do I am sure it will be amazing.
