Shizuoka Quilt Show, 2025, part 3

I attended the Shizuoka Quilt Show a while back and hadn’t posted the pictures yet. I’m traveling now, so this is the perfect time to post the quilt pictures.  I took a lot of pictures, divided into 5 posts.

This was the fifth year of this show. In the past it was held in a department store and was quite small compared to this year’s show, which was held in a large exhibition hall.

I have seen some of the quilts before; others are new to me. My favourite is the one with Japanese wind chimes. There is a lot of movement, and I can almost hear the delicate sound.

Some of these are insanely intricate, there must be hundreds of hours of work in each one! My favourite of this bunch is the black and neon rainbow one.
