Friday Finish - USA Map Wall Hanging

Lately, I’ve been trying to finish finish projects and use up some of the stitching things I’ve accumulated over the years. I finished stitching this map in 2015, then folded it and put it on a shelf. This week I spent a day turning the stitched map into a wall hanging. I used red fabric for the back and sleeve, and blue fabric for the binding, and a thin batting between the stitching and the backing.

I hung it on a tension rod in a small place, but may move it if I find a better place.

Great job! I got a very full folder of finished stitching too, I should try and make some of them into things soon.
