Stitch Group Sunday - New Project
We met on Sunday and started a new project - covers for winding tape measures. We are using different materials and techniques but they are all coming along nicely.
Teatime - the green leaves are holding mochi (sticky pounded rice), the green and white papers hold green tea rolled cookies with cream filling, cookies with nuts, castella (fluffy Japanese sponge cake) in two flavors. (In case you are wondering, no one ate all the treats at stitching group).

Looking forward to seeing how you make you tape measure covers. Lots of treats there!
Are you making something similar to Needle 'n Thread's recent measuring tape cover stitch-along?
If I counted correctly, you have 12 sweets on your plate. Of course you did not eat them all in one sitting. I am sure you decided to eat one a day and therefore you now have sweets for over two weeks.
Enjoy!
Everyone looks very busy with the new project! How do you decide what to do next?
The snacks look yummy.
