Monday Morning Star Count
This seems to be my main project every day. It is large and kind of heavy, hard to keep it on the laundry pole with the clips! I get one side clipped and the other starts to come undone. I think you can get the idea.
Well, since last week, I’ve quilted the hexagons on two sides and started on the third. It’s progress, but still quite a bit more to do.

Monday Morning Star Count
After quilting along the seams of the green strip border, I just started working on the hexagon flowers on the outermost border. The quilt is coming along nicely.

Monday Morning Star Count
Today is a national holiday in Japan - Respect for the Aged Day. It has been a holiday since 1966, originally held every September 15th, then in 2003 changed to the third Monday in September due to the Happy Monday holiday system. It is a day to honor the elderly and to be grateful for their wisdom and knowledge.
House Quilt progress - I finished quilting the braid border with the little hexagons in the corners. I think I will finish this before winter!

Monday Morning Star Count
I hand quilted the piano key border and the blue flower border. I just started on the braid border. I’m happy with the progress.

Monday Morning Star Count
Progress - I continue working from the center out. After finishing the thin blue border, I went to the piano key border and am about halfway around.

Monday Morning Star Count
I’m still working on the House Quilt. I quilted the house blocks, and have started on the thin, light blue border. I’m happy with my progress.

The House Quilt is next. I’m getting ready to start the pin basting. The batting is Warm and Natural and the backing is made of pieced cat fabrics.
