Work in Progress Wednesday
Japanese Pattern 32
Mill Hill Frosty progress - getting close to finish…
Summertime Fuji progress
The Virgin Queen’s Stitching Pocket
I finished the stitching quite a while ago. The time has come to do the finish finishing. This is a Betsy Morgan design, with the directions in this book, Willing Hands 2. After I finish it, I’ll use it and imagine Queen Elizabeth I using hers.
New start - Hawaiian table mat
I’ve wanted to try this technique, but I don’t want to take on a large quilt project. This piece is about 30 inches square, so it will finish slightly smaller. I’m not very good at needle turn appliqué, because I need much more practice! The scissors are pointing to the small bit I have done so far.

Friday Finish - Mill Hill Santa's Treats
I like these Mill Hill kits. The combination of cross stitch and beads make them fun. I've done a few others in the past.
Have you done any of these kits? What did you think?

The People's Choice - Quilts
Every month, on the first Saturday, Jo at Serendipidous Stitching hosts a Stitch A Long, with the topics chosen by her readers. This month's topic is Quilts.
I've made big full size fabric quilts, but I won't post them here. I want to post my cross stitch quilts this month.
These are miniature quilts.

Work In Progress Wednesday
Puppy Love - here are the two girls with two full legs and one shadow of a leg. What is wrong with this chart? Maybe there is an invisible leg behind the dog? Yes, the puppy is finally making an appearance.
Mill Hill - beads are filling in the spaces
Sashiko Fish - I finished the stitching and washed it. I should have pressed it before taking the photo. Sorry. It will look better the next time I post about it.

Work In Progress Wednesday
The sashiko fish just has a little more to do.
I am almost ready to start working on the beads on the Mill Hill kit.
Puppy Love is progressing well.

Work In Progress Wednesday
The Mill Hill sweets are taking shape.
More on the sashiko fish.
And the girls with the strange legs.
So much for this week.

Work In Progress Wednesday
I continue working on the cross stitch part of this Mill Hill project.
The legs on the girls in this pattern are strange and I don't know what to do about it, so I am just stitching it as charted.
I also started a new printed sashiko panel.

Work In Progress Wednesday
This week my main project has been scrapbooking. My "saved things", such as cards, clippings, tickets, programs, etc. have been piling up and needed to be organized and put in the albums.
This Mill Hill kit is keeping my interest so I continue working on it.
