Friday Finish - Mill Hill Santa's Treats

I like these Mill Hill kits.  The combination of cross stitch and beads make them fun.  I've done a few others in the past.

Have you done any of these kits?  What did you think?

The Mill Hill sweets are taking shape.

More on the sashiko fish.

So much for this week.

Two Paper and Bead Ornaments

I felt like doing something small and beady so I stitched up these two little bead on perforated paper ornaments.  I think they turned out rather cute.

Work in Progress Wednesday - Getting Unstuck #5

I started this many years ago and while I have finished several other bead and cross stitch on perforated paper necklaces, this one was stuck.  Somewhere there was a counting mistake, so I put it away.

I pulled it out this week and was able to finish it in about three days.

I have another project that is stuck that I want to start working on next.

Snowman Finish

I’ve finished this little Mill Hill kit, called Smiling Snowman, into a tree ornament.  My first finished ornament of the year.

Snowman Beads

I’ve added the beads to the snowman.  Now I need to cut it out and put the three pieces together.  The cutting part makes me a little nervous.  The kit came with a pin back, but I think I will make it into an ornament instead.
