Golden Week Adventures 2017 - Boy Scouts at the Beach

The three kilometer beach extends along the east coast of the Miho Peninsula.

There is a nice trail that follows the coast, leading to a pine tree area known as Hagoromo no Matsu.  The legend is that a fisherman found a robe belonging to a godess hanging on the tree branches.

It is a beautiful area.  Usually Mt. Fuji can be seen but that day it was hazy and difficult to see in the distance.

Looks like they had great weather for their outing at the beach. I hope it isn't too hot there yet and that you still have some spring weather to enjoy :)

I love Japanese folklore, don't you?

Have a great weekend!!
