I knew there must be a beach nearby but I wasn't sure where it was. When I was out exploring the other day, I discovered it was only about a 30 minute walk from my apartment. I don't know if this is a swimming beach because no one was swimming. The sand is black and the beach has rocks but no shells. There was a walk/bikeway above the beach and I was the only one on it. It was kind of windy. Maybe that's why no one was around.

It's kind of weird that there is not another sole around. Let us know if you find out more about this peaceful place. Black sand and no shells. Somehow that doesn't seem right for a swimming beach.

It is too early in the season! Also it might be off limit, not all beaches are 'public' and OK for swimming/sunbathing.
Looks like a good place for walking.
