The Fish Pillow

I finished this blackwork fish piece into a pillow, with fish fabric on the back.  I made a flap on the back so the pillow can be pulled out if need be.

Don't you just love blackwork?! I haven't done many projects in blackwork, but it is fun.

You have found some very beautiful Blackwork design for these three fish. The fabric is also perfect for a pillow. Good show, Pamela.

That looks lovely! The front is all elegant and simple and Japanese-style, and then comes to back and is an awesome contrast to that!

Your stitching is perfection. This is a great way to use it too. Our pillows on the couch take a beating so I have stopped having decorator ones there. My house is just too danged "lived in".
