Maneki-neko Pouch
The Maneki-neko (beckoning cat) is a common Japanese lucky charm. The figurine depicts a cat beckoning with an upright paw, although to westerners it appears to be waving. In Japan, you gesture come here with palm (or paw) down.
I made this little phone pouch as a gift. It has tombo (dragonfly) lining fabric. I hope it is lucky for the recipient.

Pandas from Hokkaido
This week Ted sent me some pandas and a care package of stitching items he brought back from the US. I am a happy camper.
Thank you!
