I have never heard of this award, in Japan or elsewhere! It is not surprising, though, as jeans must be found in every corner of the world and are worn by any age group or social class. I also think that denim is a fabric that can take different looks, you have baggy cowboy jeans and skinny jeans with so much stretch and so many sparkly studs they look like stage costume leggings.
Is this some sort of promotional stunt, advertising a particular brand of jeans? If not, it just seems wacky.
I have never heard of this either! Only in Japan. :-)
Nope, don't know of any "Who Looks The Best In Jeans" awards. There IS a town in Indiana called Naked City. I was going down a street in our area that had a sign in the front yard. Someone there came in third in a Naked Contest in Naked City. All I could do was shake my head. Oh, not that there was a contest, but that someone actually put up a yard sign that they won Bronze, lol.
xx, Carol
Never heard of it before.
Is this award organized by a jeans manufacturer? I've never heard of it!
