Kara-taki and Io-numa

One day I took a walk to the Kara-Taki Waterfall and the Io-numa Pond. I saw some interesting things along the way and the blue pond was beautiful.

Beautiful lush looking place, the pond is lovely.

These are rather long walks if they take 2 1/2 hours. Mt Mihara is a volcano so I guess the walks went uphill. Many nice things to see on the way to the beautiful pond, though.

This is a beautiful walk -- so green and beautiful. And I am just a sucker for water, ponds, streams, anything like that.

Your photos are very beautiful. They do remind me of Japanese landscape prints.

The fall and the surroundings are beautiful. Where is it? Is it near Shizuoka?
