Nikko - Walking

After finishing the wood carving class, I walked from there to the Shrine area.  It was a nice walk through the woods, but maybe there are bears around.

A pearl hidden away all these years!

Next stop, Toshogu Shrine...

It looks like a beautiful place for a quiet walk. Although bears could be an issue.

I visited Nikki and Chuzenji a number of years ago. Thank you for sharing your photos. Reminds me of the nice time I had there too!

What a peaceful place. And yes, the bears surprised me too!

Looks like a refreshing place to walk, except for the bears? Then it could be terrifying!
I saw your wood carving in your previous post, nice. Good for you trying something new.

So no bears were seen?? That is a beautiful place for a walk, love how the statue is covered in moss.

A great walk and a literal 'hidden jewel'! I'm glad you didn't encounter any bears, though.
