Tokyo International Quilt Festival 2020 - All New Quilt Works

This was my absolute favorite in this section.  In each block are like things, but there was one that was different.  It was so fun to try to figure out which was the odd one.

This one features the twelve "animal" years.  This is the year of the rat.  I was born in the year of the wild boar.

I have always wanted to attend this exhibit. Your photos make me feel like I'm almost there. Thanks.

Ooooh, YES ! THAT applique quilt is my favorite, too. It is so amazing and fun to look at. I would absolutely LOVE trying make such one for my grand daughter - in my modest capabilities, of course…

I can see why that was a favorite. I kept looking at the photos, trying to pick out the different thing. Most of the time I could but sometimes not so easy! Very clever!

You really managed to get all 50 quilts! Fantastic collection.
I loved the Hide and Seek quilt, too, but my absolute favourite is Keiko Miyauchi's bouquet of flowers. KM's appliqué is TOP class.

These are awesome! I love that 'odd one out' quilt. Some of them were quite easy to pick out from looking at the pictures, but I couldn't figure out all of them.
