Lunch at Petit Paris
After visiting the Stitching exhibit at the Prefectural Art Museum, the stitch group had lunch at a nearby restaurant called Petit Paris. The restaurant is narrow and small, only about five tables.
In Japan, there is always a wet cloth for cleaning your hands at the restaurant. Always.
There were five choices on the menu. I think the restaurant specialty was the roast beef. The chef comes to the table with the meat on a rolling table and cuts it for the diner.
I was talking and forgot to take photos of the cold cream soup and the hot bread - both of which were delicious.
We talked and laughed and found out one of our members was famous. She had a newspaper from 2002, showing her picture getting a huge bouquet of flowers when she was the 10,000 the visitor at the Prefectural Art Museum that we had just visited before lunch! She has two family members who also had interesting events in their lives, so we said they were the lucky family.
All five of us chose the fish course. There were two types of fish as choices and we all chose the red bream.
One person enjoyed a beer with her meal. She said she is strong with alcohol.
After the plates were cleared, the dessert cart was rolled out for us to choose from. Unfortunately, there was no carrot cake, but all of the choices looked delicious.
It was hard to decide, but I chose the cheese cake. We all had coffee.
We had a great day! Next month we will be back to our normal stitching time and will start a new project.

It's a great time to enjoy a delicious lunch and chat.
I've heard the name of the shop, but I've never been there. I think you are more Shizuoka than I am.
What a wonderful spot! Your lunch looks delicious and beautifully served. What a terrific way to wrap up your visit to the museum.
Hmm, that looks delicious - especially the desert!
