It's been rainy this week as a result of Typhoon 7 west of me, in another part of Japan. Even though rain was falling at my apartment, Mt. Fuji was under blue sky. How cool is that?
No 7 was a strange typhoon, with many local showers instead of the constant pelting down over a huge area. We also had sunshine with rain on several occasions.
Yes, that’s a great photo. I’m envious of your rain. We’re in an extended heat wave but hope to have a bit of rain next week. Just trying to keep the plants alive.

That's a terrific photo and really interesting. I find it so fascinating that rain can just stop one spot and yet be visible in another!
