Monday Morning Star Count - Finished!
I’m extremely pleased with this finish! The backing fabric was machine pieced but everything else was stitched by hand.
Here is the front -
The back, showing the flip edge. I like to use this technique to keep the hexagon shape.
This backing close up shows how I quilted around the hexagons.

Wow, what a beautiful finish! So how long did it take you?
Your quilt is beautiful! I love the edge.
Congratulations on a great finish. I love how the colour red pops up all over the quilt. I also think this is an all-season quilt - it will look as good on a hot summer's day as at Christmas.
Beautiful finish Pamela. xx
This is absolutely beyond fantastic, Pamela. When I think of the hundreds of hours that have gone into this, between making the hexagons, then putting them together and then batting and quilting -- I am overwhelmed. I love it!
Wow, this is a huge finish so early in the year! Love how you preserved the hexagon edge.
I also agree with Leonore’s opinion.
It was a feast for the eyes at the beginning of the year. Thank Pamela.
