These two baby photos were forwarded to me so I don’t know how they came to be. The photo on the right is Emperor Naruhito (born February 23, 1960) as a small child. The photo on the left is his daughter, Princess Aiko (born December 1, 2001) at a similar age. They look so much alike!

Did you see them when they were at the Suzuki Imperial Villa in August?
The emperor is the same age as my mother, yet his daughter is 12 years younger than me. Somehow, I find that very interesting!
