Baiin-Zen-Ji Temple

I was out for a walk one afternoon and ended up in a residential area I didn’t recognize. When I pulled out my gadget to check google maps, an elderly man came out of his house and gave me directions to the nearby Baiin-Zen-Ji. He must have thought I was a tourist. There are few non-Japanese living in my town, but cruise ships do come to the port here, bringing international visitors. I followed his directions and spent a few minutes at the temple. I had been here before, but it was a long time ago.
