The People's Choice SAL - Dragons
Jo at Serendipidous Stitching is hosting a stitch a long the first Saturday of the month and the topics are chosen by her readers. (Somehow I was confused and thought today was the first Saturday, not the second! I need to learn to read the calendar). This month the topic is Dragons. Check it out here. I stitched three of Dorothy Lesher's Dragons and here they are --
The Sun Dragon
The Dragon Master
The Moon Dragon

Friday Finish - Stitcher's Eyeglass Holder
I started this quite awhile ago and have finished it to give to a stitching friend (who doesn't read blogs). I lined the inside of the stitched side with some floral fabric.
I used to buy these Stitch and Zip kits when I was in the US and work on them when I was out and about. They make great carry along stitching projects.

Blue Impulse Air Show Festival
When I visited the Air Park Museum in February, I learned about the Blue Impulse. When I found out they would be flying (performing?), I knew I wanted to see them. My friend and I took the train and a bus to get to the venue. After the event, I heard there were 130,000 people in attendance! There were hangars with various exhibits and even a brass band to see and listen to before the Blue Impulse show.
This is a bounce house in the picnic area. We bought Fujinomia yakisoba for lunch and sat on the ground and ate.
The weather was perfect! We saw three parachuters (parachutists?)
We were able to tour this large plane.
The Blue Impulse show was amazing!
It was exciting and scary! If you ever have a chance to see the Blue Impulse, be sure to see them.
