Stitch Group Assisi
Sunday we got together to work on Assisi.
Everyone was very chatty. One of our members recently took a trip to Okinawa and told us about scuba diving and SUP (stand up paddling) and visiting Shuri-jo.
We also discussed many possibilities for our next project. I can't wait to find out what we will be doing next!

Work In Progress Wednesday - This and That
I found this unfinished Just Nan ornament and started work on it again. There is a counting mistake, which is probably why I didn't finish it long ago. I'm going to try to work around the mistake and get it finished.
I did a good bit on this cat ornament. I still have more backstitching, French knots, and beads before I can put the ornament together.
I worked on my fobs a little. This is a good carry along project.

Saturday Adventure with Hokkaido Friends
Two good friends from Hokkaido came to Shizuoka to visit me. We had a big day seeing Mt. Fuji. First we visited the Mt. Fuji World Heritage Center in Fujinomiya.
The view from the top was nice.
After that, we walked the short distance to the Sengen Taisha Shrine.
Next was lunch. Fujinomiya's famous food is yakisoba, so that's what we ate! My friends opted for a mixed meat yakisoba and I ordered squid and shrimp yakisoba.
After lunch we took the train to Mishima, then a bus to the Mishima Sky Walk. The 400 meter long Sky Walk is the longest suspension bridge in Japan. It is 70 meters above the ground in the center.
Can you see Mt. Fuji inside the heart? It was getting cloudy around the mountain.
This big pink chair is in the restroom!
Thank you Noriko and Michiko! I enjoyed our day together!

I am reporting the high temperature each day. My Year Three temperature/color (Fahrenheit) scheme remains the same:

70-79 Yellow
60-69 Green
50-59 Blue
